I have tried to run the webcam through MSN - Windows Live Messenger aswell but when I press the button "Run webcam" it first sais "Windows is looking for a solution for the problem. This is trying to run it through the Start Menu. The program doesn't start, it doesn't show any error message - Nothing happens. I've got an Acer Aspire 5530 (with Vista) and my problem is that when I try to use the program "Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.exe" a little green bent arrow appears down the right corner where all the other icons are shown of which programs are running but then it goes away as quick as it appeared and nothing else happens. My Acer Crystal Eye Webcam does not work! It worked the first time I used it, which was aproxomately 1 month ago, when I bought it. I have come to realize that I do not have the same problem as most ppl in here, but although we got one thing common.
I have not found any working solutions to the problem in all my searching, so spread the word. My webcam now works like it was supposed to since I bought the laptop in December.
